Marc Scarbeary
Friend & Entrepreneur
In March 2015, we lost a valued friend and business associate when Marc Scarbeary’s heart decided to stop unexpectedly at the young age of 62. Marc has been a thoughtful and professional trade partner, who set the bar for excellence in creating a superior level of finish in our Larsen built homes for over 25 years. Marc was a successful entrepreneur who was always looking for ways to create better results for his clients and his company. At his memorial service we had a unique opportunity to watch a video of an interview of Marc. Some of his rules for living were profound and clearly words he lived by. These were just a few:
- “It’s never too late to communicate!”
- “Do unto others as you would have them do to you”
- “Set and Manage to Expectations"
- “A quality delivery is everything – The end and the beginning”
His sense of humor, and passion for family, fishing and friends, made time with him such a pleasure. He will sincerely be missed by each of us personally and professionally. Marc’s family is committed to continuing the Venture Painting quality services with his daughter Brooke Clanton now at the helm. We are all committed to supporting Brooke through her transition.

Venture Painting, Inc. is family owned and operated and has been in business since 1978. We have a loyal group of Subcontractors and Employees, most of whom have been with us for 15 years, or more.
We strive to lead the industry when it comes to being a company people want to work not only with, but for, by providing competitive pay and benefits for our employees. This allows us to provide high end product and exemplary service. Our goal is not to be simply the people who paint the house. But also to be a resource in every step of the paint selection and application process. This can mean anything from meeting with homeowners and designers to discuss colors and products, to being enthusiastically responsive to any concerns both during construction and in the warranty period. In practice this means not only going the extra mile, but making sure our pricing is up front and transparent.
